A case of corruption has come to Pakistan cricket. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended its player Asif Afridi indefinitely. He has been immediately banned from playing cricket. PCB has taken this action against Asif Afridi under the anti-corruption code.
Asif Afridi is a left arm spinner from Kpk. Asif Afridi had performed brilliantly in the Pakistan Super League this year. He took 8 wickets at an economy rate of 6.52 in 5 matches for PSL team Multan Sultans. The same performance also earned him a place in the squad for the ODI series against Australia, but now the player is embroiled in another kind of controversy. The PCB has not made the allegations public.
